<Back> A Note from the Author

Being a nutritionist I was inspired by my passion for healthy eating to try and teach children, from an early age, why fruits and vegetables are so good for them.

To do this I first had to create a hero character, in this case a dragon, to excite the imagination of the children. To encourage them to eat fruits and vegetables, the stories drip feed the reader with messages of nutrition, which crop up through the chapters together with other messages, which include the power of friendship.

The trilogy is a compilation of ten short stories. Each story follows on but, is also a story in its own right. Each book is beautifully illustrated with full colour illustrations by Yorkshire artist, Neville Swaine.

The books have been produced to a high specification, printed on acid free paper and thread sewn for durability. They are a convenient size (127cm x 1175cm) to take on holiday and/or to pop in a bag to read when travelling.
